God’s Holy Name
If one examines the Tetragrammation and the position of its four characters, you will note that the Divine name is written from right to left.
Therefore the four substituted consonants are also literally right to left as well. HWHY. A visual comparison shows this to be accurate. In respect and honor of the Bearer of the Name, I write God’s name as He has written it.
Personally, I suppose I wouldn’t like someone writing my name backward. Especially, after they had come to realize they had been doing so unaware.
Any recognition, interpretation, or discussion of the Divine Name must acknowledge the truth of how it literally appears in the Tetragrammaton.
For teachers, it’s important to teach from Chapter 1. Literally, from the beginning. We mentally have to reverse God’s name because of how our language is structured. But it’s important to realize and remember we do so. So its good to explain why HWHY is actual and then make the necessary linguistic reversal. When a person then looks at the Tetragrammaton, it will make sense.
I would like you to do something. It is simple and you do it all the time. It is something that if you become skilled at, you will increase your comprehensive ability. It is an application of pattern-recognition skills.
Pattern-recognition as you know is taught in early childhood development. Remember the blocks with various shapes/colors that had to be fit into the appropriately shaped slot? That is an example of the early teaching of pattern-recognition.
Use this same pattern-recognition while looking at the Tetragrammaton and fitting the four consonants in appropriate order. Two of the four characters of the Tetragrammaton are the same. Two of the four consonants are the same; the H’s. These must match! The two Tetragrammaton characters that match are positioned at the left with one being the leftmost character. The second H is positioned 2 characters to the right of the 1st. This determines the position of the other two letters. HWHY Again it is simple enough to look at the visual comparison shown at the beginning of this article.
Even though this forces you to rethink what you have thought, should or can this truth be denied? This is not my truth; it is simply true. Can you be a real truth bearer and at the same time ‘cherry-pick’ the truths you are willing to acknowledge? I cannot deny truth. I can only conform and then be led by it. And if you are going to teach about such things, should you be thorough and start from the beginning?
Within the brief discussion on this topic I dare say a young child could understand this. Believe what is right before your eyes. Or what will convince you? Will mere words form sufficient convincing argument when tangible proof is insufficient? How is this remaining ‘teachable’? No one is beyond instruction.

Where is your reasoning? The tetragrammaton IS Hebrew. The tetragrammation doesn’t change to English does it?
What if the divine name is symmetry, so that it doesn’t matter the direction you begin from… there is always a mirror image. In the beginning was the word (is the word), and the word was with god (is with god), and the word was god (is god). For every action, there is a equal and opposite reaction. Find symmetry in your own physical structure and you find the divine that resides within.
By observation, the name is not symetricalin its spelling.
The 1st letter ‘Y’ and third letter ‘W’ are different so reversing the spelling would not be the same.
