Does a separation between Church and State really exist in the United States?
Why is the influence and control of the U.S. government by Zionist not considered a violation of the separation of Church and State?The separation of Church and State is a philosophical principle rooted in the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution which prohibits the government from (1)establishing a religion, (2)favoring one over another, or (3)interfering with religious practice.
While not in the Constitution verbatim, this “wall of separation” concept (popularized by Thomas Jefferson) aims to protect both entities from undue influence.
Yet, it is clear that this line has been crossed by Christian Zionist who have entered government offices en masse.
US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee recently made comments that confirm a religious agenda is being carried out by U.S. State officials.
In response Arab and Islamic countries jointly condemned remarks by the US ambassador to Israel who suggested Israel had a biblical right to a vast swath of Western Asia ( also called the Middle East).
Huckabee is clearly introducing his religious beliefs into his role as a U.S. ambassador. Yet, there is no outcry from either dominant U.S. political party. Nor has he been rebuked by the President.
According to the British news agency ‘The Guardian’:
“Huckabee, a former Baptist minister and a fervent Israel supporter, was speaking on the podcast of Tucker Carlson.
In an episode released on Friday, Carlson pushed Huckabee on the meaning of a biblical verse sometimes interpreted as saying that Israel is entitled to the land between the Nile River in Egypt and the Euphrates in Syria and Iraq.
In response, Huckabee said: “It would be fine if they took it all.
The backlash widened sharply on Sunday as more than a dozen Arab and Islamic governments – alongside three major regional organisations – issued a joint statement denouncing the US diplomat’s comments as “dangerous and inflammatory”.”/p>
Mike Huckabee is a self-professed and prominent Christian Zionist. This belief system is central to his political career and his current role as the United States Ambassador to Israel.
Why is he and other Zionist supporters allowed to use their political office to pursue a clearly religious agenda? Why isn’t anyone talking about it? Mainstream/legacy news media has remained completely silent.
Huckabee has publicly labeled himself an “unapologetic, unreformed Zionist” and stated, “It’s hard for me to understand why every one who takes on the label ‘Christian’ would not also be a Zionist”.
His views are rooted in the belief that God gave the Holy Land to the Jewish people through a biblical covenant, and that the modern state of Israel’s existence is tied to biblical prophecy and the Second Coming of Christ.
He as well as other Christian Zionist virtually control the American government. They are using their political office to further a religious objective.
Although the word ‘Church’ is used the language, is there any doubt that the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution also includes ‘Synagogue’, ‘Mosque’, and “Temple’?
The answer is No.
Mr. Huckabee as well as many others were appointed by the current and previous Presidents.
Appointed by Donald Trump, Huckabee has used his position as U.S. Ambassador to Israel to advance these views, which has drawn both support from other Christian Zionists and criticism from various Jewish, Palestinian, and human rights groups. The President is aligned with Huckabee.
This has occurred right before the U.S. populations eyes and despite knowing it is happening people have remained suspiciously silent on the matter. It could be ‘bystander apathy’.
