  1. Brother John, just stumbled across your site in my online investigation (out of curiosity) of how various Christian outfits interpret resp. identify the entity of Rev. 17+18.. I’ve been studying this subject for a few years now, searching Scripture for parallel texts and clues, verse by verse. It’s astonishing how many there are, Lamentations 1.1 for one..
In short, your insight comes closest to what I found, though the clearest clue for me was her statement, “I am no widow” (Rev. 18.7). I asked myself, who of Elohim’s adulterous people considers herself still married.. as opposed to her sister who was divorced by Elohim (Jer. 3.8)? The Northern Kingdom has been dispersed into the nations and lost all connection to their israelite roots. Not so Judah.
It’s becoming more and more obvious as we move forward in time that there’s indeed an entity that sits on and controls the kings of the earth, in particular the most powerful nation of the West who does her bidding. The entity that owns or runs just about everything.. the financial, political and medical systems, mainstream media, the zionist State of Israel…
On that note, did you know that members of the upper degree of freemason-babylonian-kabbalistic-talmudic judaism call themselves “children of the widow”? Wow!
Striking also Isaiah 47.10 where she says, “No one sees me”. Indeed. Least of all, the Christian ‘goy’. That’s because he’s been given an idol to worship and support: a so-called ‘chosen people’ reclaiming land that belongs to YHVH and a Covenant people gathered by His Son.
    Be blessed,
    Elli

    • Hello Elli
Elohim was married to biblical Israel by means of the covenant He established with the Hebrews at Mount Sinai. He set before them the blessing or the malediction based on whether or not they were obedient to His Commandments.

Neither the ten-tribe kingdom nor the two-tribe kingdom honored the Covenant. That is why the entire nation was punished.

If you read Ezekiel Chapter 8, you will read about the abominations that were taking place inside the Temple. I’m sure you appreciate that these abominations involved those of the two-tribe kingdom since the others had abandoned Jerusalem and moved north to Samaria. They all broke the Covenant that was made at Mt Sinai.

After the Babylonian captivity and the exile, they were forgiven and returned to their homeland with a new slate as it were.

But over the years between then and the coming of Jesus, they returned to apostasy.

Christ initiated a new Covenant, and the old one was nullified. Elohim only has had one Covenant at a time. He is not a bigamist having two or more wives.

However, the harlot seen in John’s vision believes that her covenant with God is still in effect. So, she boasts on this false belief proclaiming, “I am no widow!”

Today, many have been led to believe that there is still a Covenant in effect with natural Israel.

But this is not consistent with what Jesus, or his apostles taught. Nor is this belief consistent with what Elohim said to the prophet Jeremiah. Notice what He told Jeremiah:
      Jeremiah 31:31-34

31 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,

32 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord.

33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

This new Covenant was to be based on adherence to God’s commandments and not based on national identity.

The apostle Paul went into detail explaining this and it is recorded for us in the letter he wrote to the church members in Rome. It would be good to review the entirety of Roman Chapter 2. He spoke about a spiritual Jew. In particular, notice his teaching found at Romans 2:28,29

28 For a person is not a Jew because of his appearance, nor is circumcision something just external and physical.

29 No, a person is a Jew inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, brought about by the Spirit, not by a written law. That person’s praise will come from God, not from people.

The natural Jew’s salvation is like everyone else’s means of salvation and that is in acceptance of Jesus Christ as Messiah.

The Jews who were alive during Jesus earthly ministry for the most part rejected him. That brought to an end of the Old Covenant sealed at Mount Sinai. Remember that it was in Jerusalem where he was crucified.

There is no distinction between the fate of ten tribe kingdom and the two-tribe kingdom. The Covenant with physical Israel was completely annulled by God.

Also keep in mind what Jesus said in the vision he gave to John:

      Revelation 2:9

‘I know your suffering and your poverty though you are rich, and the slander committed by those who claim to be Jews but are not. They are the synagogue of Satan.

      Revelation 3:9

I will make those who belong to the synagogue of Satan—those who claim to be Jews and aren’t but are lying—come and bow down at your feet. Then they will realize that I have loved you.

Jesus is talking about Jews who were Jews outwardly (fleshly), but who were not obedient to God (circumcised in heart).

I really appreciated your thoughts on the Great Harlot. You are one of the few the understand. False teachers have done all they can to distract attention away from her true identity.

Please continue to pray for guidance and take good care.
