Revelation chapter 19 verse 15 states:
“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”
How as the term ‘rule with an iron rod been used in the past? How is Jesus ruling the nations with an iron rod? Who is responsible for the tribulations the world is confronted with today and why?
The Lord’s Day began when he started exercising his authority by direct intervention into the affairs of the kingdom of man here on Earth.
This intervention by Christ commenced at the expiration of a period of time commonly called the “gentile times” and the “appointed times of the nations”. What were the gentile times and when did the gentile times actually start and when did they end? What are some of the misconceptions that Charles Taze Russell and the International Bible Students had about what was to occur at the end of the appointed times of the nations?
